Rzeszow in Snow

Today I would like to show you pictures of my home city, Rzeszow in South-East of Poland, the capital of Podkarpackie region.

the Rzeszow coat of arms

Lovely, newly renovated City Hall (in polish Ratusz) with the golden eagle from Poland national coat of arms (although after fall of communism it has a crown)

View on the City Hall from Slowackiego street

Interesting sculpture in the city centre with the quote from the best Polish football coach, Kazimierz Górski who led Poland to 3rd place at World Cup in 1974.
The quote says: "The ball is round, there are two goals, either we win or they".

An old historic tenement at the market square (the main square in Rzeszow)

Monument of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, the hero and general of Polish army, who led in 1794 the Kosciuszko Uprising against Imperial Russia.

Old well at the market square, today a meeting point
